Compositions

Dan Begelman has over 20 years experience composing instrumental music for a multitude of situations, including Project 7 and Blue Phoenix Music. Well versed in both common and diverse genres, he can produce unique and original scores for any media project.

Transcriptions

Dan Begelman has transcribed more than 150 single-album and compilation guitar books for all of the major publishing companies including Warner Bros., Hal Leonard, and Amsco, as well as transcriptions for major guitar magazines such as Guitar World, Maximum Guitar and Guitar for the Practicing Musician. Dan is currently the chief guitar arranger and engraver for Alfred Music Publishing Company.

In addition, Dan has authored his first book for Warner Bros. Publishing: "Introducing 7 String Guitar" by Dan Begelman - an instructional book w/CD for the 7 string guitar.

Dan is available for custom guitar and electric bass transcriptions in a variety of styles including notation/TAB, notation only, or TAB only and all with accompanying chord frames, as well as song book and lead sheet style transcriptions. Delivery by snail mail or email.

Clinics

Dan Begelman introduced the AXON guitar synthesizer at the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA, and conducts guitar clinics at various Sam Ash music stores in the New York area.

He is available for guitar clinics at schools, music stores and private institutions in the NY/Long Island area.

Lessons

Dan Begelman is the consummate musician. His working credits include just about everything a musician can do to earn a living in the music business; from studio guitarist and Broadway pit musician to music director for 50's rock & roll revival concerts.

Dan is available for private guitar and electric bass lessons in the NY/Long Island area, as well as custom tailored guitar/electric bass lessons by mail for those outside the area.
